weeTutor is an online tutoring platform operating in the United Kingdom. We provide tutoring services for primary and secondary school students, connecting them with qualified tutors via our web portal at portal.weetutors.com.
For the purposes of this policy, "we", "us", and "weeTutor" refers to weeTutor. "You" refers to any person using our portal, including tutors, clients (parents or guardians), and administrators.

- Zoom connection data: If you connect a Zoom account, we store the access credentials needed to create meeting links on your behalf. We do not access your Zoom recordings, contacts, or any other Zoom data.
- Payment records: We track payment status manually. We do not store card details or process payments directly.

We use your information solely to:
- Manage your account and authenticate your access to the portal
- Facilitate bookings between tutors and clients
- Generate and send Zoom meeting links for confirmed sessions
- Send email notifications about bookings, session confirmations, and account activity
- Allow administrators to manage platform operations
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Third-party services we use
- Supabase — Secure database and authentication provider.
- Zoom — Video conferencing for tutoring sessions. Zoom's own privacy policy applies when you use their service.
- Resend — Email delivery service used to send transactional notifications.
5. Data retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you wish to have your account and associated data deleted, please contact us and we will action this within 30 days.
6. Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request corrections to inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to or restrict how we process your data
